If you're tired of writing checks every month, let us write the check for you. Our new Check By Phone payment system allows you the ease and convenience of paying your monthly mortgage payment by phone. You can even preschedule your transactions up to six (6) months in advance. Then, you won't ever have to worry about your payment being lost in the mail or late due to slow delivery. Now, you can also have the benefit of controlling the day the payment is received.

To use Amegy Mortgage's new Check By Phone payment option, simply call our customer service toll free phone number at 1-800-626-6623 and press option 1#. Then, an automated voice messaging system will lead you through the prompts. Please read the following details regarding our new Check By Phone payment system.

PAYMENT PROCESSING
All payments are processed daily at 4:30 p.m. central standard time during normal business days. If the payment date you have chosen falls on a weekend or on a federal banking holiday, it will be posted as of 4:30 p.m. the next business day.

SCHEDULED TRANSACTIONS
You may schedule a payment transaction(s) up to six (6) months in advance.

CHECK BY PHONE FEE
There is a $7.95 fee charged on every Check By Phone transaction. Check By Phone can only be used to make payments to Amegy Mortgage Company, L.L.C. for monthly mortgage payments including fees and additional principal. It is not designed to accept payments for other companies nor is it designed for mortgage loan payoffs.

AUTOMATED CHECK WRITING SYSTEM
As with any check you write, your "Check By Phone" will be returned to you as a canceled check by your bank. As with any other check, there is a fee for checks that are returned due to nonsufficient funds. As the check must still clear between our bank and yours, it will take the standard amount of time to show up on your banks records. Though, Amegy Mortgage applies the amount to your loan as of the approved transaction date not the date it clears your bank.

CONFIRMATION PAGE
When you are done scheduling your transaction the automated voice telephone message will give you a "Confirmation Number." Please write down this number and retain it for your records.
